Chief Operating Officer
As President of the Mosher Foundation, Yvette Birch Giller works closely with the community’s many nonprofit organizations. Prior to moving into this new leadership role in November 2022, she served as Executive Vice President of the Foundation for nearly 12 years.
She holds a degree in communications from the University of California, San Diego. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for many years in marketing and advertising for American global advertising agency McCann-Erickson, and Sunset Magazine and Books. She holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate through Cornell University’s online certification program and is deeply committed to building a healthier community through good nutrition.
A long-time resident of Santa Barbara, Ms. Giller is an active community member. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Santa Barbara Zoo, and is a board member and governance chair for the Granada Theatre Santa Barbara. She is an advisory board member for Storyteller Children’s Center, the Organic Soup Kitchen, and Rooted Santa Barbara. She previously served as governance chair on the Zoo Board; and was on the board at Marymount of Santa Barbara, and Storyteller Children’s Center. She is also a member of The Foundation Roundtable, a regional association of grantmakers.

Our Foundation is committed to being a strong voice in the emerging conversations around the importance of healthy food to disease prevention and treatment, which is particularly critical for low-income individuals and families.”
