As President and CEO of the Mosher Foundation, Yvette Birch Giller works closely with the community’s many nonprofit organizations.

She holds a degree in communications from the University of California, San Diego. Before joining the Foundation, she worked for many years in marketing and advertising for American global advertising agency McCann-Erickson, and Sunset Magazine and Books. She holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate through Cornell University’s online certification program and is deeply committed to building a healthier community through good nutrition.

A long-time resident of Santa Barbara, Ms. Giller is an active community member. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Santa Barbara Zoo and Sansum Diabetes Research Institute. She is an advisory board member for Storyteller Children’s Center, the Organic Soup Kitchen, and Rooted Santa Barbara. She previously served on the board at the Granada Theatre, Marymount of Santa Barbara, and Storyteller Children’s Center. She is also a member of The Foundation Roundtable, a regional association of grantmakers.
