Jennifer Engmyr
Executive Vice President &
Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Jennifer Engmyr has oversight for the full range of Foundation financial matters. A key member of the management team, she is also involved in other aspects of day-to-day operations. She has been with the organization more than 20 years and supported Margaret Mosher following the death of her husband Samuel B. Mosher, Foundation founder.

Ms. Engmyr holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UC Santa Barbara and has worked in the field of accounting for over 30 years. Before joining the Foundation, she did private accounting for businesses and estates, and held prior roles as a corporate controller and CFO.

She has served on the boards of the Santa Barbara Chapter of the National Charity League, the AAPLE Academy (Accelerated Academic Program for Leadership and Enrichment) at San Marcos High School, and other local schools, most often as treasurer. She is passionate about creating nutrition education and educational growth opportunities for local individuals and families, particularly those with low incomes.

We thoughtfully analyze opportunities to invest in the community and are very selective in inviting local nonprofits to submit a grant application. We specifically seek those with detailed and well-constructed roadmaps for positive change, which allows us to forge the meaningful partnerships that will make our community stronger.”
